What if thousands of Portlanders woke up to the fact that God is alive and at work? What if the city of Portland, which is known all over the world as a liberal, pluralistic, stick-it-to-the-man bastion of pagan hedonism, was transformed by the gospel of Jesus? What if the city we know and love changed?

In the past followers of Jesus have called movements like the one we are praying for "revivals" or "awakenings" or “moves of God”. Whatever language you use, the fact is there are places and times when God steps into a city and moves in a way that re-architects the city from the inside out.That is what we are praying for.

The prophet Jeremiah said… "Seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to the LORD for it; for in its peace you will have peace."

Could it be God is calling us to pray for the least churched city, in the least churched county, in the least churched state in America? Could it be the God of the miraculous is on the move, here in Portland? Could it be that Jesus lives in Portland? Churches from around the Portland area will be gathering, together as one family, to pray and fast for an awakening.

We want you to come. We want you to pray. We want you to fast. We want God to move.
